Our First Doctor Appointment

Perhaps the doctor did not think I would take him seriously about trying after 3 months. HEHE. He said we were definately a fertile couple...I told him the getting pregnant part was the wasy part. They were glad to see us back again at the office, and I was glad to be back. He shared with us that he too believes that God is really going to bless with this pregnancy. They gave me a pregnancy test which of course came out positive, then drew my blood. That is all that they really did today. He made an appointment for my first ultrasound at 8 weeks on May 19th at 4:00pm and then the results May 20th at 4:30pm. They will check and make sure there is a heartbeat and the size to confirm the due date. I have NO pregnancy symptoms, which worries me, but I suppose it is a blessing and I will accept that. Thank you all for checking in! Talk to you soon!

I stumbled across your blog and just wanted to say that I am praying for you. I too had a pregnancy with triploidy and was able to carry my son for 18 weeks. We lost another pregnancy before that. I now have two beautiful daughters and had no pregnancy symptoms with either (I was uneasy about this because of our past history too). I know how it feels to want to be a Mommy. I believe God has wonderful things in store for you and I will be following your progress and praying for you daily.

Shelley- I just wanted to let you know thaty our Sunday School class here in Arkasas is praying for you. Please keep us posted on the progression of your pregnancy, and we'll keep you firmly in placce at the Throne. You touched my heart during our pregnancies, and I sat at my kitchen table the day I came home from the hospital with my Abigail Grace and cried for you. My heart was hurting for your loss- especially since Abigail Grace shares her birthday with Elisha. (Of course, it also begs pointing out that Abby's brother is ELIJAH...) BTW- I am jeamom from WTE.

Hope your u/s went well. I cant wait to hear the results. Are you still having no pregnancy symptoms? If not, that is a blessing for sure. I had pretty much no symptoms most of my pregnancy. It was fantastic. I probably wont get so lucky with my next one though. Good luck. I hope its good news!!
